Castello di Brescia is a magnificent castle that was raised as part of the defense strategy when Brescia came under the rule of the Republic of Venice. The castle has been renovated several times in the later years to preserve it as a heritage site of the region. It hosts local events, exhibitions and cultural events like rock concerts in its premises. The Castello di Brescia also houses the Museo del Risorgimento which is home to several archived documents and paintings.
