Founded in 1991, the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center or the SVHEC is a reputed educational institution. It was established to encourage higher education amongst the youngsters of Southwest Virginia. The center offers variety of courses, degree programs and also has special courses for old adults (50 years and more) who have the will and passion to learn more.
