The Darke County Fairgrounds plays host to what is touted to be "the largest county fair on earth", and this is certainly no exaggeration. With plenty of space for thousands of stalls, this venue is much sought after by event organizers and businessmen. The hygienic horse barns are roomy making it a perfect space to bring the kids to. Well-maintained gardens, a kids play area and a grandstand provide the necessary entertainment while often one sees a part of the grounds rented out to campers and their motor-homes.
