Mission San Luis

Mission San Luis
[]
2100 West Tennessee Street, Tallahassee, FL, United States, 32304
Established in 1633, the Mission San Luis was created as an effort to help recolonize Anhaica, a settlement in Apalachee Province. The aim was to convert Apalachee Indians as well as Timucuans to Christianity. It was evacuated in 1704 so as to not allow any other community to use it and was destroyed as well. The site was then registered in National Register of Historic Places. Herein, you shall find artifacts relating to the times that affected the mission.
