The Corinium Museum, the largest of its kind is named after the Roman title of the Cirencester. The museum houses some incredible Roman mosaics, antique sculptures and archeological treasures. The exhibits on display are not just limited to the Roman history of Cirencester. It also features a shop reconstruction room that is set up in typical Roman style with objects from everyday Roman life. Other prominent exhibits depict the Anglo-Saxon history and more contemporary 18th-century objects. Specializing in abundant impressive artifacts, it certainly calls for a visit.
