The Peterborough Cathedral was once an ancient Monastery set up by King Peada, following which it was destroyed, and rebuilt again as a Benedictine monastery. Besides the main cathedral building, the surrounding precincts are just as fascinating. Parts of the conclave can be hired for business, social and community events, while special areas beckon to picnickers during clement weather.
