Located bang opposite the Castle de Valmy, the Parc de Valmy, spread over 6 odd hectares is a refreshing tourist destination filled with luscious greens. Formerly a private property, it has now been acquired by the town, and is open to the public during different hours that vary with seasons. Take a breather as you walk on the widespread trail and take in the wonderful views of the distant coastline and the city. You can also spend a day picnicking here, for the place is dotted with different picnic areas and pleasing fountains.
