Located in La Rochelle, Esplanade St Jean d'Acre is an open space that is commonly used for hosting live events and cultural festivals. The historic buildings in the vicinity like the Tower of the Lantern as well as the waterfront location form a picturesque setting for this esplanade. Apart from concerts, music festivals like Festival des Francofolies are also held here. This large area also serves as a parking lot for visitors attending the events as well.
