Opened recently in 2009, the Kraak gallery is fast gaining popularity in the art circles of city of Manchester. The idea here is to promote art and provide artists with budget spaces to display their art and talent. However, Kraak has not limited itself to showcasing exhibitions and explores other art forms too. Concerts, entertaining gigs, club nights and similar events are held here too. It also has a modern film and photography studio equipped with requisite technology; there are rehearsal rooms available for bands/artists. With such a broad creative spectrum, it is certainly tough to fit Kraak in a particular prototype and it will continue to reinvent itself in the years to come.
