Sea-Airport Cuxhaven/Nordholz is both an airport and a venue for the famous music festival Deichbrand. This festival features top international musicians in genres like hip hop, metal, pop and emo. The huge airbase is an ideal venue for open-air concerts and it can easily accommodate the thousands of music enthusiasts who attend the Deichbrand Festival. The area surrounding the airport has lush green fields and lakes, which serve as picturesque backdrops for the various concerts.
