A thriving outdoor venue in the heart of Weert, Evenemententerrein Weert Noord is popular for the annually held Bospop Festival, a rock music gala attended by some of the noted musicians and bands of this evergreen genre. With a serene setting and a large area, this open-air spot attracts thousands of rock music fans from different parts of the continent. Those attending the events at the venue can stay in tents as camping facilities are provided at the festival site itself. During the festival season, acclaimed artists like Popa Chubby, Fiction Plane, Beth Hart and The Cranberries have graced the venue in the past.
