Japan Society

The Japan Society is home to a permanent collection of Asian art and frequently hosts lectures, films screenings, classes, art exhibits, and plays. Their mission is to bring the Japanese community together and in turn educate other visitors about the Japanese art, heritage and more. Seminars by scholars from across the globe are held here occasionally and all workshops revolve around the significance of Japanese culture. On Fridays, the center is free for visitors, a nominal fee is charged on other days. The center is also rented out for many events that focus on learning and development, and many performing arts events are also held here.
