Arth-Goldau Railway Station dates back to 1876 and serves as a junction for important European railway lines. Though the station is situated in a small municipality, it connects Arth to major Swiss, German and Italian cities. It houses a bistro and vending machines, informational kiosks and computer rooms. Switzerland's official railroad company, Swiss Federal Railways, operates the Arth-Goldau Railway Station.
