Kongsberg Kirke is a splendid representation of the true baroque architecture from the 18th Century. Construction of the church began in 1740, and finally in 1761 it was consecrated. The main highlight of the church is the elegant alter with beautiful carvings on it. An opulent chandelier adds to the splendor of this place. The entire church reflects a blue tone.
