Parkhotel Schloss Wulkow was built in the Middle Ages and was the residence of the Schapelow family, a noble clan from the 14th to the 17th Centuries. Over the next few centuries, it changed hands and was used as a hospital, shelter for refugees and vocational training center till it was restored to its former glory in the early 1990s. It opened its doors as a hotel in 1994 and has been much sought after place for wedding couples, honeymooners and business travelers.
