Formerly built as a monastery, Altes Theater was constructed in the 17th Century and was converted into a theater by the end of 18th Century. This venue went through major renovations in 1900s and was reopened as a theater in 1980. The theater still has an old-world charm, but is equipped with good acoustics and modern amenities required for a successful event. This theater is popular for staging a variety of events like plays, musicals and also offers special workshops and programs for children, making it an entertainment destination for one and all.
