A spectacular moated castle, the Schloss Lembeck is a visual treat. The baroque building is known for its fine architectural detailing and finesse. The facade in itself is quite majestic and is accentuated by two towers on the sides. The chapel tower of the castle has Neo-Gothic elements and is quite noteworthy in itself. Currently, the castle houses a restaurant, a hotel and a special castle museum that is open to public visitation and gives you an insight into the bygone times. The castle gardens are popular with locals, especially for family outings. There are ample play areas and picnic spots here.
