Also known as the Cathedral of Saint Michael, the Coventry Cathedral is one of the West Midlands city's most sacred churches. It is the centerpiece of the Diocese of Coventry and houses the Bishop of Coventry. The third cathedral of the city, it was built between the years 1956 and 1962 by renowned architect Basil Spence. The structure is a wonderful specimen of Regional Modern architecture and is an unmissable sight in the heart of Coventry thanks to its elaborate main spire.
