Skipton Town Hall situated on the busy High Street is home to a concert hall, an exhibition gallery, a museum and a tourist information center. While the concert hall plays host to a wide range of concerts and performing arts events, the exhibition gallery plays host to various art and craft events throughout the year. Housed in a beautiful rustic building, Skipton Town Hall is the cultural and event center of the city. Wooden chairs and benches made by the popular furniture maker Robert Thompson are kept and maintained in excellent condition inside the town hall.
