Nestled In the heart of Herk-de-Stad, Park Olmenhof is a scenic area surrounded by a breathtaking landscape. Developed in the year 1987, this municipal park comprises a zoo and a mini golf course, among other attractions. Leisure seekers can wander in its dense woods or stroll by the serene ponds. The park is also home to the town hall which lies to its west end. Park Olmenhof also remains a thriving venue for cultural events. The popular Rock Herk Festival is held here. It attracts the best talent from Alternative music genre. In the past, the noted British band Hadouken has performed to a lively audience at the park.
