TOURIST ATTRACTIONS & SIGHTSEEING, PRACTICAL INFORMATION
One of Tonsberg's most revered church's, the Tonsberg Cathedral majestically stands over the city's Storgaten. It was originally built in the year 1948 to serve and house the diocese Tunsberg. The structure's Gothic architecture is one of its main features and is the work of master architect Christian Heinrich Grosch. Its grounds house a stunning stone-carved statue of Svend Foyn that was handcrafted by Anders Svor.
