Located in Perpignan, Cathedrale Saint Jean Baptiste is a Roman Catholic Church and is also considered as a national monument. Built by King Sancho of Majorca in the 14th century, the church is a fine example of Catalan Gothic architecture and is known for its distinct structure and design. The Perpignan Cathedral is most notable for its wide nave which features a short transept and apse and is made of a seven cross-vault.
