Back in 2003, Linda and Roy Longworth began growing lavender as fodder for honeybees on their property in Northern Michigan. Today, after extensive research on cultivation techniques and know-how, the Lavender Hill Farms has yielded into a profitable business. The crop is bred minus the use of pesticides and chemicals, and the harvest is then transformed into a plethora of merchandise to empower local businesses. From bath and beauty products like soaps, lotions and essential oils, to gastronomical renditions of honey, jelly and shortbread, this establishment celebrates all things lavender.
