Named after its location in south of Pittsburgh, the 222 Ormsby is a top-notch live music venue that most of the indie bands prefer to perform at while on tour. Headed by a group of music lovers, this not-for-profit, do-it-yourself venue has a huge following, owed partly to the vibrant atmosphere and also to the nature of bands performing here. In the past, artists/ bands like Andrew Jackson Jihad, Paul Baribeau and The Ghostwrite have performed here, much to the delight of folk punk and rock music lovers. Walk in here for one of the shows at 222 Ormsby and you can't help but join the crowd in cheering the band.
