Hotel Sachsenhof am Nollendorfplatz

This hotel is associated with some of Berlin' best-known writers. It was the setting for Erich Kästner's beloved children's book Emil and the Detectives as well as being the long-time home of poet Else Lasker-Schüler. Hotel Sachsenhof is situated in a lively part of Schöneberg (Nollendorfplatz) known for its bars and cafés. The turn-of-the-century building boasts an impressive staircase and a labyrinth of corridors. The rooms are sparsely furnished yet are stylish and comfortable.
