One of the most influential ports in the Mediterranean, Port de Barcelona is a commercial hub as well as a striking landmark. An expansive port in Spain, the port area is classified into zones of the the old port (Port Vell), commercial port and the Barcelona free port. Many cruises embark their journey from Port de Barcelona, which have excellent transport links such as the World Trade Center terminals and the T3 PORTBUS. A nautical museum in the Reals Drassanes (royal shipyards) on the port premises provides a chance to learn about the world of ships and maritime life through various activities.
