Located in what is known as the Professor Octávio Mangabeira Cultural Sports Complex, the Itaipava Arena Fonte Nova is a massive stadium designed for Brazil's favorite pastime. In fact, soccer is the only game that has ever been played here. It is conveniently ensconced within the district of Nazaré, right near the city center and other attractions. The arena has a capacity of 50,000 seats, however, it has held a crowd of more than 60,000 for the 2014 World Cup.
