a part of the civil parish of Westhampnett, the Goodwood House is a stunning manor that was constructed in the 1600s. The property is a part of the estate of the Duke of Richmond which also comprises of the Goodwood Circuit, Goodwood Racecourse and the Goodwood Golf Course. It was first commissioned to the first Duke of Richmond, Charles Lennox in 1697 CE. Over the years, a stable, kennels and other structures were added to the building. Today, the property is thrown open to visitors who can explore the grounds and the art collections. The annual Goodwood Festival of Speed is also held here.
