Essentially a business district, downtown, as the name suggests is the heart of Toronto. Roughly bounded by Bloor Street, Bathurst Street, Lake Ontario and Don River, is boasts of some of the tallest skyscrapers in North America. A favorite spot of tourists as well, it has a lot of visitor attractions like CN Tower, Art Gallery of Ontario, Canon Theatre and Kensington Market. A number of upscale restaurants, boutiques and shopping complexes also adorn the downtown area, where you can spend an entire day without getting bored.
