This club/restaurant/bar is located in one of the most interesting buildings in Porto, the Mercado Ferreira Borges. The building itself is spectacular, with a red iron facade that sits atop a concrete base. The 'mercado' was never used as an actual market, however since its creation in 1885 it had been used as an armory, soup kitchen, art museum and other center for community events. In 2010, the city allowed Hard Club to take over the premises in which the owners turned the space into a multi-cultural one. When visiting, guests can grab a bite to eat, catch some live entertainment or check out an art exhibition.
