Pfarrkirche St. Nikolaus dates back to the 13th Century. Today, it serves as a Catholic parish and is an important religious center for the locals of Wolbeck. The current facade displays a mixture of Romanesque and Baroque styling. A tower was added to the structure in the 17th Century. The original organ was built by renowned organ builder Paul Ott in 1976. Crypts of the noble family of Merveldt can also be found here.
