Built in the mid-13th Century, the St. Georgs-Kirche-Sengwarden is an impressive example of Romanesque architecture. Over the years, the church has undergone several renovations and has added numerous elements to its initial structure. These additions, such as the early 14th Century baptismal front, the Munster school altar and the early 20th Century pulpit, have only added to the rich historical heritage of the church. The church has also been prominently host to a concert series called the Alte Musik Sengwarden for more than two decades.
