Schloss Schillingsfürst is the third palace erected on the site in the 17th Century. The original castle according to records was built in the 11th Century. Its baroque architecture was designed by Heinrich Schickhardt. It is still a part of the Princes of Hohenlohe and is not completely open to the public. Take their castle museum tour which comprises a few period rooms which includes a gallery, staircase, salons and dining room. The Falkenhof showcases the beautiful garden and their majestic birds. These two venues are seasonally open and have separate admission prices.
