Schlossplatz is located right outside the Schloss Karlsruhe. The beautiful palace square is surrounded by important buildings such as the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Botanischer Garten Karlsruhe, Staatliche Kunsthalle Karlsruhe and the Bundesverfassungsgericht. The district courthouse and regional council are also located here. The picture-perfect square features several cultural monuments and fountains. Intricate sculptures of mythological creatures and Grand Duke Karl Friedrich of Baden along with several Naiads fountains embellish the square with its historic charm.
