TOURIST ATTRACTIONS & SIGHTSEEING, PRACTICAL INFORMATION
This medieval town is nestled on a gigantic meteor crater forming a distinct bowl shape. Many structures of Nordlingen have meteorite parts included in their construction. Climb on the church steeple called Daniel to view the crater edges or take an air route to get an aerial sight of the beautiful town. Some of the major attractions are Saint Georg's Church, Ries Crater Museum, the town hall and the Stadtmauermuseum. A visit to Nordlingen will definitely be a memorable experience.
