Located in the famously notorious region of Italy, Sicily, Villa Palagonia was built in 1715. Hugely popular for its monster-themed garden, it is often dubbed as Villa of Monsters. Created on orders of Francesco Ferdinando II Gravina, the Prince, this villa receives many tourists throughout the year. Apart from the intriguing, little monsters, the villa is also home to “Gallery of Mirrors" which is really, a ceiling filled with antique, hand crafted looking glasses that looks like something out of Alice In Wonderland. The privately owned Villa Palagonia is only partially open to public.
