Pfarrkirche St. Peter und Paul

Pfarrkirche St. Peter und Paul in the city of Sankt Peter serves as one of the most prominent religious sites in the historic city. The present structure was built in the year 1727 and its construction spanned three years. Commissioned by Abbot Ulrich Bürgi, it was built to the designs of noted architect Peter Thumb Voralberger. Over the next four decades post its completion, several additions and modifications were made to its lavish interiors. An active house of faith, the baroque Pfarrkirche St. Peter und Paul runs several music groups who perform classical concerts and recitals.
