The arrival of the railroad marks the rail history of Tuscon. The locomotive Southern Pacific 1673 is an exhibit which is present as a heritage article at the Southern Arizona Transportation Museum. 20th March of every year is celebrated as the Silver Spike Festival festival at the museum as it is known as the arrival of the rails in the city.
