The St. Joseph's Cathedral Basilica is a Roman Catholic Church and is touted to be the only basilica in the entire state of Alberta. This church welcomes all with open arms sans any discrimination. Although construction of the church began in 1913, it was not completed until the year 1963. Pending completion, the church basement was used by the congregation for mass and prayer. While there is much architectural detail to admire, the stained glass windows that adorn the church are by far the most striking features.
