During Canada's centennial celebrations in 1967, the Dutch community in British Columbia, gifted this melodious wonder to the city. The Netherlands Centennial Carillon was unveiled by the Her Majesty Queen Juliana of the Netherlands. Located at the intersection of Belleville Street and Government Street, the carillon features 62 bells, that chime during the day, filling the streets with its music.
