Centrally located, Kirche St. Willehadi is an important landmark of Osterholz-Scharmbeck. Dedicated to Bishop of Bremen, it was built in 850 and boasts of being the oldest church in the city. The church was subject to further renovation and extension as the community started to get bigger. While it is hard to ignore the dominant facade of the church, on the inside, the church has an exceptional organ that was built by the renowned organ builder- Erasmus Bielefeld.
