Jane's Carousel is located in the scenic Brooklyn Bridge Park, New York. This historic carousel overlooks the Manhattan skyline. It was originally built in 1922 by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company for Ohio's Idora Park. The carousel boasts 48 exquisitely carved and painted horses illuminated with bright lights. After undergoing several studies and extensive renovations, Jane's Carousel opened its doors in this park in 2011. Today, it makes for an iconic attraction and also allows private parties, weddings, proposals, and events for kids.
