The Metropolitan Club is a historic members-only social club which was established in the year 1891. Originally a male-only establishment, the club saw illustrious members such as Ray Price, J.P. Morgan, Larry Pressler, James A. Roosevelt, and Robert Winthrop. The clubhouse, which was designed by Satnford White, is a beautiful example of the architecture of the time with an opulent interior which has pained ceilings, crystal chandeliers and stained-glass windows.
