Cancale is a fishing town in north-western France. Being a small town along the coast, it is very popular among visitors for shopping and the restaurants serving seafood. Although it is known for its scenic beauty and food, the hustle and bustle of the town cannot be ignored. It is also known as the birthplace of Saint Jeanne Jugan. The local people have main occupation of harvesting oysters and is thus known as 'oyster capital' of Brittany.
