Located in north Bristol's Stapleton area, Snuff Mills is also called Whitwood Mill. At Snuff Mills, you can find some pleasant and relaxing walks along River Frome's elevated wooded banks, for instance the walk to the beautiful Oldbury Court. Snuff Mills includes a stone mill and an old quarry. In the 1980s, Snuff Mills was restored by Fishponds Local History Society. Today, locals as well as tourists visit Snuff Mills to soak in the natural, refreshing surroundings and find peace in the region's serenity and tranquility. River Frome's stretch also houses Bristol's otters. Snuff Mills remains open throughout the year.
