Gracing the lands of Ribblehead in North Yorkshire is the marvelous Ribblehead Viaduct. Carrying the Settle-Carlisle Railway, this viaduct is a historic structure, built by the Midland Railway. Comprising 24 arches, the serpentine viaduct is made of limestone bricks. When in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, one can enjoy an uninterrupted view, up close, of this splendid work of engineering. Making for an unmissable photo op, the famous Ribblehead Viaduct merits a visit by all those flocking the park.
