From the highest point of Grefsenåsen, 377 meters (1240 feet) above sea level, you get a splendid view of the city. You can enjoy this from a restaurant. Further down the hill lies small lake Trollvann, with a narrow beach, a picnic area and a café. This is a good starting point for walks (there are marked paths, also suitable for bicycles and prams) in the surrounding woods. In the winter, there is a short downhill skiing run, as well as a great hill for tobogganing. Get there by car or on foot from Kjelsås, following Grefsenkollveien.
