A beautiful stately house in Hertfordshire, the St Paul's Walden Bury is one of the childhood homes of Queen Elizabeth and is believed to be her birth place. The gardens of the house are listed as Grade I. The estate is open to public access and is also rented as a venue for private events. There is a dedicated picnic area for the visitors and several educational activities are also conducted for kids. The estate can be visited only via prior permission. Cost for visiting the house is £15 and for the gardens is £7.50.
