Schloss Park Pillnitz

Surrounding the beautiful Baroque Pillnitz Castle are the mesmerizing gardens of Schloss Park Pillnitz. The Castle Park compliments and adds to the overall royal beauty of the place. The park covers approximately 500 meters (1640 feet) of area and runs parallel to the ever-lively Elbe River. A lovely flower garden that contains a 230 year old Camelia tree is adorned by a pond with a refreshing fountain. This park is where the kings of the castle used to rest and therefore, is as lavish as the royalty. In addition, the park also contains an English styled pavilion and a Chinese Styled pavilion increasing its overall aesthetic beauty. The admission price of the park varies as per the season. The Park also rents space for private events such as birthdays and weddings and holds certain events of its own for educational purposes.
