One of Cornwall's largest parish villages, St Agnes is known and frequented for its rich copper, arsenic and tin mining history. Most of this village remains of geological interest. It is a registered Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty site thanks to its beautiful fauna and sandy beaches. Its neighbouring areas are frequented for diving and fishing.
